How to Play as the Fixation
You already have the knife. Spend it on the house, not on a single tunnel.
When you spawn as the Fixation, the round is no longer a horror movie you are watching. You are the wish. The official art is your job description: occupy the doorway, deny the hall, make love look like a chase. This guide is the hunter manual. It sits next to the Fixation tier and the Fixation role page.
The role is supposed to be strong. 1 vs All math says one player must threaten up to eight others. If you still lose, it is usually because you toured the map instead of owning it.
Minute one
Do not sprint a grand tour. Pick a wing. The house in the screenshots has a clear threshold — lit interior, dark hall, windows. Start on one side of that threshold and make it yours. Survivors who spawn scattered will funnel toward lamps. Be there when they do.
Check the first obvious closet because public lobbies always use it. Then leave. Lingering in an empty wardrobe teaches the rest of the server that you are predictable. S-tier hunters on the hunter tier create the feeling they might return, then actually return on a timer.
Chases
Commit when a survivor is isolated. Break off when you see two or three bodies in the same hall unless you can cut the only exit. Tunneling a pack is entertainment; cutting a rotation is how rounds end.
The knife fantasy is close range. That means corners matter more than open-floor sprints. Wide rooms with hanging lamps look cinematic and leak survivors out the far door. Narrow wood halls are where the role sings.
If you miss a lunge, do not emote. Re-establish line of sight or leave for a different target. Animation lock is the survivor’s window. Give them fewer of those windows.
Pressure after a down
One down is a resource. Use it. Look at the rest of the house before you stand over the body. The remaining survivors will either rescue-style group (easy to recatch) or scatter (harder, but they stop doing objectives). Your job is to punish the group without ignoring the scatterers who might finish a path.
There is no published named power list yet. Do not invent a special if the client has not shown you one. Play movement, camera, and room ownership. When Sushi Deluxe adds a tool, the updates hub will say so and this guide will get a section instead of a rumor.
Audio and camera
Wood floors tell you when a stack is panicking. Lamps tell you where they want to be. Windows tell you which side is bright enough to silhouette you — that doorway screenshot is a two-way gift. You see them. They see a horror still. Use it, then step off the glow so you are not a poster.
Warm up sensitivity on controls. A hunter who cannot 180 toward a scream is a survivor’s favorite hunter.
What not to do
- Do not inject ESP. You already have the power role. Script safety is the ban version of this sentence.
- Do not farm clips in a public server at the expense of the queue.
- Do not type during a chase.
- Do not assume every red outfit on a thumbnail is a skin you need to buy. The hunter identity is the role, not a gacha.
Practice
Play survivor until you hate your own old hiding spots. Then hunt those spots. Read how to survive as a scouting report. Learn the walkthrough so you stop getting lost in your own house.
The film line is “a love only the branch of a willow tree could conjure.” The gameplay line is “a round only map control could end.” Be the second sentence.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
I keep losing as hunter. Why?
You are touring instead of owning a wing. Patrol, then chase. See the Fixation tier.
Should I camp a body?
Glance, then leave pressure. Hard camping teaches the rest of the house to play the other side.
Are there named hunter abilities?
None officially listed yet. Play movement and rooms until a patch says otherwise on updates.
Is camping the doorway S-tier?
As a silhouette threat, yes for a few seconds. As a lifestyle, no. Survivors will rotate around you.
